Belts. I'm still trying to figure out they do best for me.
I love the idea of belts, but in implementation, I'm still working on it.
I love this two tone belt, but I wish it was a hip belt instead of an empire waist belt. Maybe that's more what I need is hip belts. Hip belts ride up and I have to constantly adjust them. Guess I'll keep exploring belt territory and see what I decide.

I'll be with you forever I found
What I wear to funerals isn't very traditional, but I don't follow rules very often. Since there's no black around here, I like the idea of dark brown and green, the colors of earth and life.
This skirt gets worn at least once a week at work, maybe as often as three times a week. Because it's so stretchy, but still crisply holds its shape, it's perfectly comfortable, sleek, and wearable. I'll be sad when it gets threadbare and I can't wear it anymore.
I love my North Face rain jacket, which came out on this day because of the rain and because it was cold and windy. It's s real rubbery nylon. One day after a big rainstorm, I was dragging big broken branches around the backyard and it got muddy. I walked over to the hose and cleaned up really quickly - so easy. It's nice to have something that doesn't stain with my "active lifestyle" - not to mention keeps the rain off and keeps me warm.

In the silence between whisper and shout
Alfred Lambourne painted a series of works at the Great Salt Lake, when he lived near there in the 1890s. It was amazing to see his works at the UMFA (Utah Museum of Fine Art) and later go visit Black Rock on the south end of the Great Salt Lake. Not to mention look fabulous while at Black Rock.
I do like this cardigan, compliments of the thrift store. Even though cardigans and I don't necessarily get along, just because they aren't always very crisp, and don't compliment my shape as nicely as jackets do. But still, this is one of the ones I can tolerate well.
You can't see it very well, but I now have an exceptionally awesome asymmetrical haircut.

Head in the clouds
This shirt: turns out the fabric really bugs me. The fabrication was just too heavy, I could feeling it pulling downward at my shoulders. It lacks any sort of crispness to it. Can you see how it makes my shoulders look all wrong?
I've found that I shop better, and come home with better stuff that meets my needs, if I go alone. This was picked up during a really enjoyable shopping trip to Macy's with a friend. Enjoyable time, but the shirt is less than optimal.

I think I lost my way
It's not too often that you find the perfect necklace: light enough, chunky enough, and makes a tiny tinkling sound when you move. Those are my favorite, and I've only got a few of those. This awesome necklace I found through an Amazon search and took a chance on the purchase - it turned out to be a really great find.
This is also the first time I've shown these tan, flat leather boots I got from 6pm.com. Since I bought them, I've worn them almost every other day during the colder months, and they've held up well, are comfortable, and keep me looking sharp. I also like how they click when I walk.

Hang it on a shelf, in good health and good time
I got rid of this purple polka dot Tee, but that didn't stop me from wearing this fancy one. The dots are bigger, and the white background gives it more contrast. Not to mention my Germany purple scarf.
