Life in Plastic, It's Fantastic!

Looks like it's been a little while since I posted about my Type 1 antics.  But don't worry, they're still going on :).

I am wearing a new rather permanent accessory - my wedding ring!
I should get you a closeup so you can see the awesome height that you get with it (from the side).

Other than that, it was pink day. I am wearing this great skirt from Hillard and Hanson (one of my favorite department store brands) that I picked up at the thrift store the last time we had a date night to the thrift store (September, maybe). It's a bit of a light pink, but I love the seaming that goes across the hips. It's a touch longer than I typically go for, but fits beautifully.

Type 1 as a married person: So, I married the love of my life, and he happens to be a 2/4 in energy type. So, to put it lightly, we are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm all over the place, and he's...more sedate. It's not to say that we are incompatible, but it gives us an opportunity to honor each others' strengths, not compare one's weakness to another's strength, and to honor and cherish each other. I'll tell you more about this later, but I am so honored to have such a gentle and kind husband. :) Cheesy, I know!

Three stained bleach spots, and a hole in the knee

Yeah, sorry there's no pants on this blog. With the frigid temperatures outside, I really wish they were part of my daily wardrobe. Sadly, they're not. That's why knee-high boots are great for keeping me warm!

We got some snow on Sunday, which finally cleared out some of the fog-smog-inversion thing that happens in Utah in January. I was glad to see the clear skies, even though it was painfully COLD! And I didn't even wear a coat to church. That was a silly move. But I didn't have anything that matched well, so I skipped the coat.

Type 1ism of the day: Although I do love the colors and stuff going on in the skirt, and it's very lightweight, I'm not sure how sold I am on full length skirts. The length might be just a little too downward for me, despite the fact that it helps to keep my legs warm. Almost all of my skirts are knee length, and I think that's the direction I should continue in, even though I did thrift this skirt for like $5 or something...
