Running through the field, where all my tracks will be concealed

Wow, now that's a flattering shot - eyes closed! You know, photography is a process. You can also see evidence here of my great need for a haircut. I got one last night, thank goodness, and I think it's shorter than usual. I think my tuck-behind-the-ears pieces are gone. My hair grows out fast enough that ideally, it would get cut and thinned every 4 weeks.

One of the things I love as a 1/3 is corduroy. It holds its shape a bit, so it's kind of crisp, and it's a little more substantial than other fabrics. My mom got me this skirt when we were out shopping one day - did you know you can get Down East clothes at Seagull Book for 10% off their regular price? Well, you can, and it's a great deal!

Type 1ism of the day: I love going for a walk while I talk on the phone. This used to happen when I was a teenager, and we had a phone cord to deal with! I would stand at the bottom of the stairs and pace around as I talked. It really bugged my (Type 2) father, because I was wearing out the carpet and incorrectly stretching the phone cord. Now, if I get a call and I'm at home, I throw on my boots and my white puffy coat and tromp around the neighborhood. It helps me move quickly and upwardly, and see the beautiful world outside!

The one thing I don't like about this yellow shirt is that gather at the bottom. And sometimes I wonder if those split sleeves are a little too drapy (they're really not, I just have my moments).

I'm gonna soak up the sun while it's still free

Can you see how I'm still working on the cheesy factor when taking pictures of myself? Oh yeah. I could maybe tone that down a bit.

This outfit was all about the H & M, that delightful store found in large cities around the world. There's just something so compelling about it. And what I'm wearing even includes H & M clothes from different locations.

Type 1ism of the day: it turns out that I've always loved "beach towels." You know the brightly colored ones with pictures of fruit, cartoon characters, or the ocean. Well, as I was getting out the shower this morning and drying myself off with my Koolaid towel (which I collected enough Koolaid points to redeem!, circa 1995), I love beach towels! They are perfectly Type 1!

Capiz Circles Necklace

I wandered through Ten Thousand Villages today and saw this great necklace today. It was handmade in the Philippines, which is super cool too. The pink and red clam shells are really lightweight, and so was the chain. I think I may go back and pick it up - now I just have to find the right shirt to wear it with!

Now the morning sun is shining

Howdy friends!

Type 1ism of the day: Last night I was heading out for a friend's house and left dinner boiling on the stove. It was on a fine heat, and when I came home, it was perfect. No need to supervise though!

I'm trying something...I found that I can take full length pictures in this little place at work.

I love this outfit! I love the combination of peach and red together. I love the print of the skirt (which you can hardly see in this picture). I love my new boots - they have the perfect heel height, and a cool buckle on the outside of the boot. And the walnut color is beautiful. I guess I need some better lighting though, so I'll work on that. :)
